Morton Fails To Stop SEC Lawsuit Charging Him, Others with Fraud

Just over a year ago, the United States Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) filed suit in New York Federal District Court against Sean David Morton and Melissa Ann Morton accusing the two, among others, with defrauding one-hundred investors out of more than $6,000,000.00 in what the SEC called a "psychic scheme."
On April 1, 2011, with Morton likely hoping it was one big April Fool's Day prank, a judge issued a ruling dismissing all of the briefs in opposition filed by The Mortons in their unsuccessful bid to have the SEC lawsuit dismissed. In the briefs, described as incoherent, rambling, and legally baseless, The Mortons alleged that they had never been properly served legal papers by the SEC.
Federal Magistrate Judge Michael H. Dolinger ruled in favor of the SEC and dismissed several petitions made to the court by The Mortons including a motion for summary judgement, a challenge regarding being served, and a ludicrous request for documents and other items that exceeded the scope of the claims. In papers filed by the SEC, it appears that The Mortons did everything they could to avoid a number of process servers attempting to serve them with the SEC lawsuit filing. These attempts to evade being served included Melissa Morton alleging to be a neighbor named Vicki, which unfortunately for Melissa Morton it turned out that the process server had already spoken to the real Vicki.
In another instance cited by the SEC, Sean David Morton was in New York and got caught in an elevator where he tried to hide his face with a hat and scarf - turns out he got served and went so far as to grab a phone out of the process server's hand when he attempted to take a picture of Morton as proof.

Just read thru all the documents and all I can say is WTF?? Is Sean Morton really this nutty? All of those motions Sean filed spell d-e-s-p-e-r-a-t-e. And I agree that for claiming to be such an accomplished and accurate psychic one must wonder how Sean Morton could not have seen this all happening. Further proof the guy can't predict his way out of a wet paper sack with a rocket launcher.
Will Morton get the Madoff treatment and get arrested over any of this? Here's to hoping there's some justice left in the world. Morton has been running about the UFO circuit unchecked for years. Looked through your investigation of Morton and his failing miserably to sue you over it. LMAO!! Great stuff!
